PRESENTATION
TECALEX’s beginnings date back to 1965, starting as a company involved in the manufacture of dies for extrusion presses. Thanks to the experience in this area, the first extrusion press was manufactured in 1984.
Nowadays, TECALEX supplies the full range of machinery for extrusion and smelting plants, and has more than 70 references all over the world, ranging from the modernisation of existing facilities to the implementation of turnkey projects for whole plants.
ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING
TECALEX’s engineers and technical experts work with cutting-edge design, calculation and manufacturing systems to develop the projects that are best suited to client-specific requirements. Our company has a group of top-level approved suppliers, all of them sited near of facilities.
PRESS FEEDING
The main function of the log loader, ingot furnace, hot shearing and press feeder is to deliver the billet to the press in pre-set conditions of temperature and length, with minimum idle time. In this process we guarantee a minimum noise level, energy consumption and scrap.
The high-performance and easy-maintenance ingot furnace is ready to operate in tandem with an induction furnace, thus permitting billet tapering.
EXTRUSION PRESS
TECALEX is a groundbreaking company in the design and manufacture of super-compact presses. Their three main defining characteristics are billet front loading, its patented tandem-mounted cylinders and a quick die switch-over system which minimises down time and energy consumption, thus guaranteeing maximum stability in the extrusion process.
The company-designed system of overall control of the extrusion process (CAEx) guarantees the highest possible level of productivity.
PULLER
Depending on client-specific requirements, TECALEX offers three solutions in profile extraction systems that provide the highest level of productivity.
The design, based on the best hydraulic and mechanical components, also guarantees minimum maintenance.
QUENCHING TABLE
The quenching table combines the use of spray water and air to control the profile’s cooling curve. This system is adaptable to any type of geometric shape and makes it possible to apply proper heat treatment to the profiles to achieve optimal mechanical properties and correct dimensional tolerances.
PROFILE HANDLING
A modern handling system optimises material flow and minimises the percentage of scrap.
Modular tables, equipped with high heat and mechanical resistance textile belts and rollers. Automated traction bench. Low-noise level profile saw with chip extraction. Automatic profile stacker.
AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT
Once the concept of the extrusion line has been defined, it is possible to choose between a series of auxiliary equipment to optimise production performance, such as:
Automation of the flow of skip movement through the plant. Machines for removing remains from dies and cutting bottoms. Scrap compactors. Sets of spare adapted to client requirements, permitting just-in-time maintenance.
